Developing a blog

I am sick and tired of large bloated CMS or blog systems. Wordpress I'm looking at you.
I've been a fan of the idea that people who are smarter than you should do their smart work for you. And I tried my best to apply that to the current blogging systems out there. So I said enough is enough. I'll make my own.
But Ólafur? This has been done a 1000 times before!
"I don't care" I say. So I set a few ground rules down while I develop my own blogging... thing.
- 1. The site must be simple and focus on the content. Not pretty things!
- 2. It must be faster than Wiley Coyote. That fool can never catch me.
- 3. It must work on all major browsers.
- 4. A feature is only implimented if it passes these rules
- 4a. It does not slow down load time of pages by a large amount.
- 4b. It does not increase the memory allocation by a large amount.
- 4c.It serves a general purpose (no fluff features)

Aye nothing beats plain html and I totally agree with that. But there must be some sort of middle ground between plain html and blog engine insanity.Process time: 0.010535 seconds
